Who are we

We’re a small group of straight and gay friends who have been navigating the Seattle-area dating scene for over a decade. Some of us have found meaningful relationships. Others have had false starts, long stretches of frustration, and more than a few lessons learned the hard way.

Over the years, we’ve spent a lot of time talking—among ourselves and with friends across the region—about dating and hookup culture in Seattle and the surrounding cities. Patterns repeat. Challenges are shared. Certain dynamics are very specific to this place.

This site exists to put those experiences into words. Not as universal truth, not as advice from a pedestal, but as honest observations from people who’ve lived it. If something here helps you feel less alone, recognize a pattern, or think differently about how you date in this region, then it’s doing its job.
